Anna Lilly: Middle School Ministry Director

Originally from Greensboro, Anna Lilly grew up at Westover Church. After completing an education degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Anna began volunteering with Westover's middle school ministry while also teaching 6th grade at a local school. Because of her passion for students and for ministry, Anna joined Westover's staff in 2015.

She desires to see God work in the lives of more students during the very pivotal middle school years while students gain independence, wrestle with tough questions and learn what it means to walk with Jesus each day.   In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and pulling for the Carolina Tarheels.

P.J. Harvey: Student Ministry Associate

PJ works with Fuse high school ministry and Impact middle school ministry, developing the worship team, guiding large group times, as well as ministry and creative planning. PJ has served in ministry since his 8th grade year, right here at Westover. While a student himself, PJ led worship and filled other ministry roles. During college he served with CRU with their worship team as well as the technology aspect of the ministry. Being around the students and serving to equip them for ministry energizes him.

About his role working with students PJ acknowledges “It has always been something that gives me such great joy that I just wanted to keep doing it! I get to do that day in and day out.”

Before landing in Greensboro, PJ lived in Chicago, St. Louis, and San Francisco. He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School in 2009 and enrolled in Appalachian State University from which he earned a BS in History Education. His passion is music and family—leading worship when he can, and sharing life and adventures with his wife.
